TERIYAKI TUNA AND SALMON BOWL
This is a super quick and healthy recipe to make. This is perfect for dinner and lunch. Takes up 15 minutes of your time and you'll have an awesome meal to get you going.
Ingredients
- sashimi-grade salmon and tuna (from the Asian market)
- 1 cup cooked rice (Wild rice or brown)
- 2 cups fresh spinach (or 1 cup frozen, thawed)
- 1/2 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup edamame, shelled (fresh or frozen(thawed))
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 tsp sesame seeds for topping
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp red crushed pepper
- 1 tsp garlic seasoning
- Cook the rice as instructed on the package.
- In a bowl, add in teriyaki sauce, honey, red crushed pepper, and garlic. Stir together well before adding in salmon and tuna. Marinate the tuna and salmon in the sauce while the rice is cooking.
- Cut your avocados, heat up the edamame and set aside until the rice is ready.
- Once the rice is done, serve immediately. On a plate add salmon, carrots, edamame and avocados.
- Pour a little bit of the marinate over the dish for additional flavor.
